Abstracts

Abstract submission is closed.

Abstracts must be submmited within the scope of the following thematic areas, being the authors responsability the choice of the area for submission:
1. Opening Borders
2. Education, Pharmaceutical, Ethics and Deontology
3. Community Pharmacy and Hospital Pharmacy
4. Pharmaceutical Technology and Biotechnology
5. Pharmacology, Pharmacodynamomie, Pharmacokinetics and Biopharmacy
6. Bromatology, Pharmacognosy and Nutraceuticals
7. Pharmaceutical Chemistry
8. Regulatory Affairs
9. Biochemistry, Clinical, Forensic and Toxicological Analysis
10. Artificial Intelligence

Abstracts must be submitted until June, 30th 2023 (23:59, GMT) for Oral Communications, and until August 15th, 2023 (23:59, GMT) for presentation in Poster format.

  • Accepted abstracts and presentation mode will be confirmed by e-mail until September 08, 2023

  • Withdrawal of abstracts can only be accepted if notified by e-mail and subsequently confirmed by the Conference Secretariat. It is only possible to withdraw an abstract until 8 days after notification of acceptance. 

  • Accepted abstracts will be publish in a special issue of Acta Farmacêutica Portuguesa

  • There will be given awards to the best Oral Comminucation and to the best Poster Communication in each of the thematic areas.

Presenting author and Registration: 

  • The presenting author must register as an active participant at the congress at the latest 8 days after acceptance of an abstract;

  • The Conference Secretariat reserves the right to exclude any abstract that is not followed by a participant registration at the latest 8 days after notification of acceptance.

Reviewing and notification:

  • The Scientific Committee is responsible for the review of abstracts;

  • The notification of acceptence/rejection and presentation mode of abstracts will be sent to the authors by September 08 2023;

  • It is the responsibility of the investigators that all studies are performed with respect to national legislation, international legislation and ethical guidelines refering to Human Beings as well as animals. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to reject any submitted abstract that is believed to violate these principles;

  • Please check that your email address (submitter and presenting author) is correct as it will be used for contacting you after the review process;

Guidelines for presentation

 

Poster: 

  • The boards for display of abstracts will be 120 cm high x 90 cm wide. More information HERE

Oral communication:

  • Each presenting author will have 8 minutes to present their work followed by 2 minutes for questions and answers. We thank you in advance for your best understanding in complying with the stipulated schedule.

Oral Communication – 1

Poster – 2 ( Except if the author already has an Oral Communicaton. In this Case, the author can only present 1 Poster)
